Please use the web form to post a sale on the website, and please tell us if you want the text to appear in the next issue of the printed/online newsletter as well.
Members can place an ad for free. Non-members: please send us a payment of £5 before sending us the details of the ad.
Your ad will be up on the website until you tell us to remove it.
Please note that if you decide to include your email address as means of contact we cannot take
responsibility for you receiving emails in relation to the ad which may try to trick you into either
giving out personal information, or handing over your instrument not trustworthy. You are urged
to safeguard yourself against such actions by taking care who you reply to by email.
If you have a contribution for 'the Viol', such as an article or a report, please email it to Mary Iden (electronic versions much preferred). Please note that we reserve the right not to print items we receive, and that we may not have room for everything. Your contribution should be viol-related and of general interest to our members. If you have any other ideas of topics that you think could be covered in our newsletter, we would like to hear from you.
We wish to avoid printing the same articles as other Viola da Gamba Societies. We are happy to print a summary of an item that first appeared in another publication, but not to duplicate the full article. Questions about publishing an article translated from another language should be addressed to the editor of The Viol, Mary Iden.
